Convention Tuesdays: JAMPcon, JordanCon, Mobile Bay Anime Fest, Tupelo Con 2018

Welcome to Convention Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I will feature and highlight conventions happening during the upcoming weekend in Alabama, or within short driving distances from Alabama.

April 20-22 — JAMPcon — Chattanooga, Tennessee

JAMPcon stands for Japanese Anime Mange Paradise convention. We are an Anime, Comic, and Gaming convention based in Chattanooga, TN. We are a reboot from 2010, back and here to stay!  We are a group of fans who decided that Chattanooga needed a spring time convention and why not us start it? 🙂 It was just that simple. A collection of fans who enjoy the fandom’s. We are glad you have come to check us out and we hope to see you at our next convention!

April 20-22 — JordanCon — Atlanta, Georgia

JordanCon is a fantasy literature convention founded in honor of the late author, Robert Jordan. Jordan was the author of the best-selling The Wheel of Time series. JordanCon features eight tracks of simultaneous programming, a Dealers’ Hall, gaming, an Art Show featuring original art by a variety of artists, and charity events benefiting the Mayo Clinic and other charities.

April 21 — Mobile Bay Anime Fest — Daphne, Alabama

Mobile Bay Anime Festival is a one day event being held to celebrate anime and manga, as well as general pop culture and animation, while bringing together a diverse list of guests, vendors, artists, and fan groups, in an affordable, family friendly environment.

April 21-22 — Tupelo Con — Tupelo, Mississippi

Tupelo Comic Con is a 3rd year multi-genre convention local to Tupelo, MS. The convention will be held April 21 & 22, 2018 at The Tupelo Furniture Market.  Major guests include Kylie Szymanski, Karan Ashley, Josh Grelle, and more.  Major events include a Cosplay Contest, Retro Gaming Library,  Championship Wrestling, and more.
