This week on the HBO show Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, they talk about two things that the geeks and nerds should care about.  The first video is about patents, and the abuse of them.  Patent trolls have abused the system by stockpiling patents and threatening lawsuits, and this forces businesses to shell out tons of money.  I mean, abusing patents to get greedy, only in America.

But things get better!  John Oliver also does a segment about the end of the world.  And CNN’s doomsday video is something made with 1980’s video technology, time for something better!  If doomsday ever comes, watch this video when they enlisted Martin Sheen to help make humanity’s final moments happier!  Enjoy both videos!
