Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

We’re building GAMR to combine the fun of gaming with real movement. Gaming today keeps people sitting still, while exercise often feels forced and repetitive. We believe movement should be a natural part of play — something you want to do, not something you have to schedule. GAMR blends real physical activity into games people already enjoy, helping kids, adults, and seniors move more without turning it into a workout.

As of February 24th, this project has raised $272,000 of their $35,000 goal. This project has 23 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $149, you will get one play pad. For a pledge of $278, you will get two play pads. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/active-gaming-pad/gamr-active-gaming-play-pad?
