When you think about the #1 burger in the world, Spain may not be the first country that comes to mind. But what Hundred Burgers in doing in Valencia and Madrid is truly something special.
Alex + Eze are burger freaks, obsessed with pursuing the creation of the best burger in the world. Their journey started during a trip to New York City, where their love for burgers led them to eat 15 best burgers in 4 days. Their mission? Learn from the best, create the best. And they did.
In 2024 and 2025, Hundred Burgers ranked #1 on the World’s Best Burgers by TheBurgerDudes, the world’s leading burger expert group, who’ve almost reviewed 1000 burgers around the world.
From their own house-made bun, to their own dry-aged Rubia Gallega beef, to countless other sauces and toppings made in-house, Hundred Burgers is truly a love letter to the best burgers around the world.
I was honored to spend almost a month with them, capturing their incredible story. The entire staff of Hundred took such good care of me and genuinely made me feel like family. Thank you Alex, Eze, Maiti, Andrea, Jorge, Sammy, Luis, Irene, Patri, and the countless others that made this story very dear to my heart. I never knew you could go to such lengths for a burger, and I am still in awe of your world.
