Music for some is entertainment. For Tony Mack it is his calling.

Tony Mack, the versatile musician, has had a rich career collaborating with a diverse range of artists, from Freddie Jackson to Kurtis Blow. Currently, he is celebrating the release of his new EP “Trezure the love…” under his music company, Trezure Roxx Records LLC. Tony expresses that this venture fulfills a long-held dream of providing artists with more control over their destiny.

His EP features tracks like “Trezure the love,” a poignant social commentary set to a funky groove reminiscent of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.” Through his music, Tony aims to shed light on social issues while spreading a positive message. Additionally, “ComeBack Lover,” the group’s initial single, sets the tone for the album with influences from iconic bands like Slave and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Beyond performing, Tony showcases his producing talents on the EP, with Darryl Gibbs as co-producer. The album, a blend of R&B, funk, and soul, reflects Tony’s growth as an artist and producer. His musical journey began in high school, inspired by Mandrill’s “Fencewalk,” and continued through his time in the Army, where he formed “The Taegu Family Culture” band in South Korea.

Post-military service, Tony delved into the professional music scene, working with groups like Secret Weapon and forming Output with DJ Davy DMX. Collaborations with Kurtis Blow and contributions to various music projects solidified Tony’s place in the industry. His work with The Strikers led to the creation of FreshBand, known for its global fanbase and compelling music.

Throughout his career, Tony Mack’s passion for music has driven his artistic growth and creativity, shaping his identity as a musician, writer, and producer. His journey from Jamaica to NYC and now Philadelphia has been marked by a deep commitment to his craft and a desire to share his music with the world.

Oh yeah… it’s on!
