On the evening of June 28th, 2025, a supercell developed near Watertown, South Dakota. Within 2 hours of its lifecycle, it had become tornadic, producing its first substantial tornado (and a brief second) near the town of Clear Lake (first 11 minutes of video). A second, more violent tornado formed on a cell behind the initial storm, producing destructive winds, and completely leveling a home. This tornado had some of the strangest evolution seen in storm chasing in over a decade.
