And, Chaos yawned…
After supereons and countless universes, Chaos exhaled yet another facsimile of life, worlds, and dreams rearranged like a tired hand of cards. Our infantile existence shimmered with potential for a moment, then slipped, as they all do, into the same dull patterns: birth, rise, ruin, repeat.
Boredom.
As with the others, Chaos left behind a bulky enchiridion for its inhabitants to follow as a blueprint to sustain their fragile reality. Then, with little ceremony, Chaos toddled off to observe another realm like a cosmic reality show or snore out yet one more variant.
But this time, something went wrong.
The language meant to sustain us was quickly lost. It became too mythic for the dim-witted and too poetic for the scientifically smug. Its truths were diluted into pop song hooks or commercial jingles. The celestial user manual became pulp for newspapers, magazines, tabloids, and eventually the shrill cacophony of social media, where every pseudo-influencer proclaimed themselves a starseed with a smartphone.
What humans failed to grasp was that the Music, the ancient harmony that held reality together, was still playing. But no one was listening. The celestial beings who once embodied the symphony fell silent, ignored, and reduced to memes and magazine quizzes. Without reverence, their song began to unravel.
Reality frayed.
Not that Chaos noticed. One more broken channel in the infinite didn’t matter.
Fortunately, Earth has something the other universes lacked: really, really good coffee.
Even luckier still, two ancient cosmic beings, known as Mr. Tycke and Mr. Tyok, had developed a profound fondness for our little bean brew (the others lacked goats, cold foam, and pumpkin spice) and an increasingly invested habit of people-watching.
From their perch in a strange little café in New Orleans, they decided to intervene. Not with thunder or fire—but with whispers, nudges, and a gentle rekindling of the forgotten language.
The Music of the Spheres, if it can be heard again, might just save this universe.
At least if the coffee holds out.
MUSICA UNIVERSALIS Zodiac Oracle Book Deck (The Music of the Spheres) is an oracle book-deck inspired by the vast symbolism of the cosmos: the planets, the stars and their counterparts in mythology. Astrology is one of the earliest forms of divination used by mankind. Ancient people viewed the planets as gods that wandered through the sky, bringing both good fortune and life’s challenges.
This oracle deck attunes us to the archetypes of the universe, providing a way to converse with the divine that exists in the wilds of nature. The MUSICA UNIVERSALIS Zodiac Oracle Book Deck will connect us with the sacred consciousness that flows through all living things, and facilitate a relationship with our own inner knowing, which is reflected and guided by the cosmos.
Along with the deck, backers will receive a comprehensive guidebook, a short story, and an illuminated, fold-out board displaying the astrological houses and fixed stars (stretch goal).
MUSICA UNIVERSALIS consists of 47 cards, an 80-page hardcover novelette measuring 7.25″ x 7.25″, a full-size guidebook, and an Illuminated House board with tokens. Each card is illuminated with gold foil stamping. The high-quality 3.25″ x 5″ inch cards are on 350 GSM black core stock with rounded corners. The decks come in a heavy, magnetic closure box with a 76-page booklet describing each card’s symbolism and use in journaling and reading.
