Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori is an open world action-adventure set in 13th century Mongolia with horses at its core. Come ride with us towards new horizons!
So far there aren’t many big budget games focused on horses: riding them, taking care of them, training them, breeding them for improvements and specific purposes! But that does not mean there is not a passionate audience for such a game nor that new audiences and classic open world gamers will feel attracted to such a title, especially considering the diversity of mechanics of Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori.
Over and over, we see big budget games fail at basic horse anatomy, while most horse-focused games only get made for a presumed tiny audience without proper resources. We are ready to prove that this lack of supply is not due to a lack of demand.
Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori is the first project we have have developed in full collaboration with the community and we soon realized the broad appeal our vision had with wider audiences. With that in mind, crowdfunding through a Kickstarter campaign just made sense to us and we are honored to have even more of you along for the ride!
