Inspired in part by the work of family counselor Dr. Benjamin D. Garber, this Chameleon Kid adventure encourages self-discovery and teaches children about big emotions.
By supporting this project, you’re investing in a resource that helps kids thrive amidst all of life’s transitions.
THE STORY
In this tale, written for children aged 5 to 8, a boy’s black-and-white world is suddenly invaded by color. As he begins to interact with these colors, he learns about different emotions and discovers his true essence.
This colorful adventure will particularly resonate with children in frequently changing environments, such as those in:
- Blended families
- Multicultural homes
- The foster care system or adopted families
- Military families
- New schools or grades
- And more
The book features hand-painted watercolor art assembled digitally.
