In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Meridel adopts Sadie, a dog recovering from cancer. As the pandemic hits and isolation sets in, Meridel herself receives a devastating diagnosis. Together the two support each other through treatment and recovery.

Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS ) coordinated Sadie’s life-saving medical treatment and brought Meridel and Sadie together.
