In 1991 the adventures of Darkwing Duck debuted on The Disney Afternoon and on Saturday mornings on ABC. 91 episodes were aired over two years. Creator Tad Stones developed a wonderful parody believed to be a cross between many notable pulp characters. The series was critically acclaimed and has a following of die-hard fans.
Now over 30 years later we have the incredible honor of not only creating new comics based on Darkwing Duck, but we are thrilled to present this beautiful collectors’ editions to commemorate the Duck Knight’s exploits.
We wanted to give all of our Darkwing Duck supporters something really special for your collections. These editions of Darkwing Duck graphic novels are all exclusive to Kickstarter and will not be offered through other outlets. That means every copy of these editions will be quite rare with modest print runs and very hard to find outside of your personal collections. We’re committed to providing these deluxe collectible omibus sized editions to the biggest die hard Darkwing Duck fans. And to make this project even BIGGER – ALL of the Hardcover editions are Oversized! These 9×12″ volumes are full of larger than life daring Darkwing Duck adventures!
