Welcome to the Kickstarter Campaign of my Felted Cat Tarot Deck. My name is Katherine Fung. I have been a professional digital designer for over two decades since I graduated from the ChingYing Design Institute in Hong Kong in 1999.
This Felt Cat Tarot Deck was made together with my another cat Tarot Deck, namely Tarot of Cat‘s Psychic Power. (I failed to have my Kickstarter Campaign of Tarot of Cat’s Psychic Power succeed because I was too confident to set the target too high. After learning from the last failure, I set the target this time to a more reasonable amount.) The Tarot of Cat’s Psychic Power uses realistic cats as the characters of the stories. On the contrary, the Felt Cat Tarot uses felted cats as the stories’ characters.
The Felt Tarot Card Deck follows the traditional Waite-Smith Tarot Symbolism System. There are many specialized books on Waite-Smith Tarot card reading, say for example, the books written by Mary Greer. However, I have also written a guidebook for beginning tarot readers. Please check out the details in the Add-ons section.
There are 22 major arcana cards and 14 cards for each of the four suits, totally 78 cards in the deck.
