LETHAL Comics and HOLY CROW Press present Outbreak Park! The Walking Dead meets Jurassic Park!
Writer Allan Amato and artist Andy Belanger bring you their startling vision of a post-post apocalyptic world. Humanity exists in vastly smaller numbers, within fortified enclaves mirroring the early city-states of ancient Greece. While a vaccine inoculating humans against a bite has been created, most of the planet is still subject to roving herds of undead. And equally frightening anarchist wellness Men’s groups..
In New Alhambra, Outbreak Park is built to further research into the undead phenomenon, using docile zombies as teaching tools for the children growing up in the new republic. Lest the near extinction of humanity ever be forgotten, and repeated.
But while humanity is slowly clawing it way back from the brink, underneath the veneer of civilization lies a fervent minority plotting against the yoke; religious zealots that insist god’s plan for the Rapture is being interrupted, disgraced politicians flung from the halls of power after their abysmal handling of the initial outbreak. Their plan is to release the park’s occupants back into the fledgeling city, destabilizing the new regime.
And only Jack and Beulah – two warriors grudgingly forced to work together – can keep their world from crashing back into the abyss. Especially when a bite gets through the vaccine, creating zombie hybrids resistant to everything but a heavy pipe to the back of the head!
