Marta Rail is a 48-mile, 4-line rapid transit system in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). It first opened in 1979, and shares a lot of similarities with BART and the DC Metro, all three of these being mega projects that opened in the 1970s. There are also several exciting developments in the works, from new Stadler trains to 4 new infill stations.
