We believe that off-grid living is an answer for many of our modern problems. Most of us spend our whole lives working for a paycheck to purchase: food, water, energy, shelter and sanitation. Today’s generations can afford less and will have to work longer than many of our parents and grandparents. What if we took a different path?
What if more of us learned to obtain those 5 key needs directly? Food, water, energy, shelter, and sanitation. It’s absolutely possible. What if we learned to produce these needs locally, and sustainably as well? Some already people live this way; and more people should jump aboard. We’ve been studying innovative off-grid systems & methods to make this lifestyle a reality. With this research, we’ve been building a simulator app to show anybody how off-grid living systems work in their specific location.
The Land Lab Simulator is a powerful design app to help you rapidly build virtual off-grid systems blueprints for providing food, water, energy, sanitation, and shelter. This app will teach you how these systems work by allowing you to drag-and-drop real-life systems to provide for your needs. Every off-grid system in this app exists today (to purchase or DIY). If you are interested in permaculture, solar power, gardening, passive shelters, tiny homes, biogas, composting, regenerative agriculture, and independent living, this simulator app was built for you.
As of July 4th, this project has raised $53,000 of their $24,000 goal. This project has 3 days left to raise as much as it can.
