Most people with cats will know about the craziness cats get up to in the middle of the night. What if there was a reason, for those nighttime shenanigans. One filled with hidden horrors, ancient pacts, and heroic cats!
With A Cat’s Purrpose Kimmicomics and Geoscrolls want to give you an amazing adventure focusing on cats and just how far they will go to protect us. So, if you want to see what your cat might be up too, be sure to back this comicbook.
A Cat’s Purrpose is the newest project of the Oyasumi series. A few years ago, we started with an anthology with short stories. And the readers wanted longer stories. so, we decided to oblige them. A Cat’s Purrpose will be a bigger story project with multiple volumes. This Kickstarter will be for the first volume. You can pounce right in without having to read the first anthology!
The first volume is around 70% finished and it will be a manga-style, black and white, softcover A5 sized book. It will have a full color UV-spot cover and will be around 160+ pages long.
The first story, A Cat’s Purrpose,will be a 120+ pages story written by Geoscrolls and drawn to life by Kimmicomics.
We will also feature two additional stories created by guest-artists. One of them will also be about cats, but the other one will be about dogs. We felt like we needed to throw them a bone. Tama; This will be a 16 page story in manga style, black and white, written and drawn by Natasja van Gestel. All dogs go to heaven; This will be a 20 page story in semi manga/european style, black and white, written and drawn by Sairanite.
As of June 12th, this project has raised $8,600 of their $3,226 goal. This project has 17 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $17, you will get one PDF book.
