Crowdsourcing Mornings: Kvisp – Discover The Joy Of Biking Together With Your Dog

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

Let your four-legged friend take place in the seat, adjust the safety straps, and get ready to discover the world together. It only takes 4 seconds to let the fun begin.

To make sure the seat is as safe as it can be, we partnered up with leading experts in the child’s bike safety industry. Together we developed and tested our dog seat.

  • Mount the seat on your bike with the same mounting bracket used by the world’s most renowned child-seat brands
  • Multi-purpose walk-and-cycle dog harness for safety comes included
  • Safely strap and secure your dog into the seat with the safety straps – one in the front, one in the back – so that it can’t jump out unexpectedly while still giving her space to move comfortably.

Kvisp comes from the Dutch word “kwispelen” which means “a dog wagging its tail” – because making dogs happy on their bike rides is our mission 🙂

As of June 1st, this project has raised $165,000 of their $10,698 goal. This project has 7 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $181, you will get one Kvisp seat.  For a pledge of $352, you will get two Kvisp seats.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
