Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines
What if the trends that creators follow to help sell their comics were actually Dark Gods?
Would you pledge your soul to the Dark God Cthulhu, who has horror fans wrapped around his tentacles?
Would you pledge your soul to the Waifu Goddess, who lures NSFW fans in with cheeky covers?
Or would you fall into the traps of the eerily similar Death Goddess, who has fans of 90s comics in the palm of her hand?
This new comedy/horror from Pat Shand & Team Space Between is “This Is The End” meets the comics industry!
I Summoned Cthulhu to Fund My Kickstarter is a loving parody of all the trends in comics and on crowdfunding, poking fun at them all while also fully embracing them. It is a 32-page single issue with 24 pages of story and 8 pages of bonus content. This is the first issue of a series that will run at least three issues, with the second planned for late 2023.

As of May 2nd, this project has raised $24,000 of their $5,500 goal. This project has 4 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $5, you will get one digital PDF. For a pledge of $16, you will get one cover. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/patshand/i-summoned-cthulhu-to-fund-my-kickstarter-1-horror-comedy?
