Crowdsourcing Mornings: Treasures, Thoughts And Trinkets

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Can stories heal your soul?

By the 2022 Eisner Awards nominee Ileana Surducan,  Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets is a collection of 24 silent comics that bring a world of colour for your soul, a playful puzzle for your mind and a fresh perspective on everyday life.

We would like to print Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets as a beautifully full colour hard cover book that will become the second addition to our utopian comics collection.

This book would join the fairy tale inspired comic book about working too much, The Lost Sunday, which we crowdfunded right here and published last year.

In addition, the digital version of  Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets will be published on the shelves of our magical comic book library, Lost Sunday Comics, currently available as a video game on Steam.

No words needed! Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets is a collection of 24 silent comics, each and every one conveying without words a touching story about everyday life that will delight and surprise you.

From whimsical creatures that hide in teapots, to mysterious hunting parties and modern day pirate troves, Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets brings heart warming glimpses of magic and absurdity to what most of us would perceive as ordinary life happenings.

As of June 1st, this project has raised $4,700 of their $18,814 goal. This project has 7 days left to raise the $18,814 or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $6, you will get one Steam digital key.  For a pledge of $17, you will get one print edition.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
