Crowdsourcing Mornings: Heartprints In The Snow-A Dogsledding Documentary

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

Dogsledding is more than just a sport, it’s a bond that lasts a lifetime! If you’re a dog lover, THIS film is for YOU!!

My name is Robert Michael and I’m thrilled to be creating the documentary, Heartprints in the Snow! Join me as I venture back to where it all started for me, Michigan, as I explore the bonds that are built between humankind and canine, and experience the love and connection behind the sport as seen in Hollywood films such as Togo, 8 Below, Snow Dogs, and so many more! With stories out of Michigan, Texas, New York, and more!

I grew up within the MUSH organization, AKA Mid Union Sled Haulers from 1996-2009. My father was the president of the organization for a period of time and my mother on the board herself. In 2004 my father co founded MIDD, AKA Michigan Dog Drivers Association with Rick and Linda Lange, and both clubs are currently thriving! I’ll be focusing on these groups and the mushers who’s lives have been changed forever by their furry family members!

As of March 5th, this project has raised $1,500 of their $10,000 goal. This project has 56 days left to raise the $10,000 or it might not be funded. For a pledge of $20, you will get a thank you credit in the film.  For a pledge of $100, you will get a associate producer credit in the film.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
