Roadscapes Wednesday: Just Don’t Go, Hazmat Highway, Hennessey Venom Record

Roadscapes Geek Alabama

This week on Roadscapes Wednesday, I am sharing three road-themed videos that should give you a smile on this Wednesday.  The first video from the YouTube channel Bob Herzog features traffic reporter Bob Herzog from Local 12 in Cincinnati where he took the Disney song “Let It Go” from Frozen and turned into a brilliant parody version called “Just Don’t Go.”  Brilliant job, I wonder if Disney will use this version one day, they should!

The second video from the YouTube channel Jay Patterson features a traffic accident in Russia.  A truck carrying high pressure cylinders got into an accident on a Russia highway and the cylinders left the back of the truck, and exploded.  Over the course of the video, you see more cylinders exploding, and this person was smart to put on the song “Highway To Hell” in the background!

The third video from the YouTube channel hpedesign features the Hennessey Venom GT setting a new world speed record for 2-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph.  The test was performed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway.  Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsports Park, drove the car, cool video!
