PENSACOLA is an animated web series concept developed by Wasan Hayajneh at Midnight Oil Animation. The series has been under development for three years and the pilot has a completed animatic, ready to go into production. We need YOUR help to make it happen!
Before Shazam, you had to hum a song and hope to god somebody knew what you were talking about.
Before YouTube, you had to listen hard for a radio jockey to tell you who sang it.
Before the convenience of the musical streaming infrastructure we have today, you either had pocket money to buy the music you wanted to hear- or you found other means.
Radio Pirates follows Rocky & Margo as they attempt to solve a mystery of the late analog age…
Margo heard a great song on the radio, but she can’t remember what it’s called or who it’s by or how it goes (she’s tone deaf). Rocky takes it upon herself to help her poor unsavvy friend- they are going to find that song or forget what they were supposed to be doing while trying!
On their journey, Rocky & Margo dig through dilapidated attics, hip music stores and finally discover the infinite possibilities of the internet… and piss everybody off in the process.

As of July 31st, this project has raised $3,000 of their $14,000 goal. This project has 15 days left to raise the $14,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $5, you will get your name in the credits. For a pledge of $15, you will get early access to the short.
