In January 2026, the ground beneath the Italian city of Niscemi began to crack. Today, a 4-kilometre landslide has devastated the city: 1,500 people have been evacuated, hundreds of homes are lost, and the ground is still moving. In the aftermath, Andy flew out to Sicily to see how this disaster has reshaped the lives of the city’s 25,000 people, and to spend time with the community fighting to save their homes.
