A charming 7×7″ lift-the-flap board book, Find that Fish! follows a dolphin named Daphne, as she searches for her sneaky fish friend, Finn! This book, written by a pediatric speech-language pathologist, encourages age appropriate speech development for all toddlers, not just those with speech delays. While it is an educational book, for the reader and child, it will not feel educational-it reads like your favorite story!
While exploring this book with a caregiver or speech therapist, children will address:
First developing speech sounds: F, D, W, Y, and -NG
Early language goals:
-Understanding location words such as “in”, “on”, and “under” -Imitating and following directions
-Using action words ending in -ing
-Describing with colors
-Learning animal vocabulary
All strategies implemented are backed by evidence-based practice and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) guidelines.
Book design specifics: This book is filled with 22 vibrant full-color illustrations, 9 lift-the-flaps, and has rounded corners, perfect for little hands.
*By supporting this book, you are also supporting speech & language development for Atlanta children’s hospital patients and a women and children’s shelter! Donated books will be gifted to these organizations to provide families with a fun and easy way to practice these skills.*

As of July 21st, this project has raised $3,100 of their $3,000 goal. This project has 7 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $5, you will get one eBook.
