Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO KNOW THEY ARE LOVED, WORTHY, AND CAPABLE — BEFORE THE WORLD ASKS THEM TO PROVE IT.
That’s why Murphy & Co. exists.
Around ages 8 or 9, something shifts. A child who was happy and secure starts measuring themselves against grades, peers, and performance. For the first time, their sense of worth becomes conditional.
Parents feel this moment coming and want to do something about it. Murphy & Co. is here to help.
Murphy & Co. is a children’s book series for ages 3–11 designed to help children develop the capability and confidence to navigate their big, little worlds. Our first books are for children ages 3–8 — the critical window before the shift happens.
Our stories follow Murphy and Mac — two curious, grounded friends navigating the real adventures of growing up. Every story begins with Murphy and Mac already secure in their own worth. From that foundation, they face universal moments of childhood:
- Preparing for the first day of school
- Standing up for a friend on the playground
- Mastering a new skill through effort
- Making new friends
Children watch how Murphy and Mac find their way through — and learn how to find their way too.
Core themes: Gratitude • Contribution • Empathy • Social Awareness
