A wildlife vet. A con man. And a pack of serial killers.
Semi-reformed con man Jem Berger and his boyfriend, wildlife veterinarian Tean Leon, are settling into their new—safe—life together. But when the murder of a respected member of the community leads police to suspect an acquaintance, Jem and Tean find themselves drawn into yet another murder investigation. The killing isn’t what it seems, though, and as Jem and Tean discover, there are things worse than murder.
Because men are prey.
And there are wolves among us.
If you’ve heard me talk about The Lamb and the Lion books before, then you know they’re very special to me. I love Jem and Tean, and a lot of the issues they grapple with are ones that matter deeply to me as well. That’s why I’ve been so hesitant to come back to them; I didn’t want to tell more of their story until I knew it was the right time. So, here we are—and I’m so excited to be back!
The Lamb and the Lion: Wolves Among Us is a series of three mystery novels, plus a collection of short stories. Please note that this series takes place after the events of The Lamb and the Lion and before the events of Iron on Iron; The Lamb and the Lion books should be read first, beginning with The Same Breath.
