Watch an amazing show of sparks, and engineering, as Loram’s rail grinder works its way down the rails! In what almost looks like a fireworks show on rails, you’ll get to see this astonishing machine in action, while learning how it works. This isn’t something you see everyday, rolling down the tracks!
Things start off as Loram’s crew was preparing the rail grinder, and doing work on it, earlier in the day. As we learn what each car does, we’ll get a unique, close up view of this engineering marvel on rails. Once day turns to night, we’ll watch as it takes to the rails, and grinds away! As it makes it way down the tracks, we’ll see a shower of sparks kicked up, smoke, and water jets blasting the tracks!
