Hi, I’m Leah Taylor—two-time USA Today bestselling romance author, founder of the Romance Atlanta Writers and Readers Signing Event, and a hopeless romantic. Today, I’m asking you to help me build Shelf Love, the newest romance-only bookshop in Metro Atlanta. Our anticipated opening date is May 10th, 2025.
This isn’t just about opening a bookstore. It’s about creating a home for readers, a place where romance lovers can gather, explore, and celebrate the stories that bring us joy. Not to mention introducing you to new-to-you indie authors.
Why a Romance-Only Bookstore?
When I fell in love with romance novels, I found so much more than stories—I found a community. Romance readers are smart, passionate, and unapologetically enthusiastic. But the stigma around romance is real, and our genre doesn’t always get the respect it deserves.
Nearly ten years as an indie author myself, I’ve come to realize we need something more. That’s where Shelf Love comes in. We’re here to celebrate romance in all its forms… because, hey, love IS love.
Located in Austell, Georgia, Shelf Love will be a haven for romance addicts. It will be a place to discover books, connect with fellow readers, and support the authors who create these amazing stories.
