Unicorn of Christmas Magic is aimed at preschool and lower grades children but is not overly simplified for them. It trusts them to understand more complex ideas and language than adults generally expect them to.
Some parts may be challenging for the younger children to fully understand on the first read; and that’s exactly what I aimed for. My goal was to create a deep, multi-layered story that children can keep coming back to as they mature and grow. It is designed to challenge their minds. It will encourage them to think about their own feelings and the world around them more deeply. And… it will undoubtedly spark endless discussions with you, their parents – so be ready for that!:)
It is not just a bedtime story. It’s a story that your children will grow with. A timeless story that teaches them something new each time they read it.
Fluffycorn, also called Fluffy, is a true dreamer. She always dreams big, no matter how small she is. This Christmas, she hopes to make her deepest wish come true. She shares her dream with her two closest friends, Albie (a small wise owl) and Misty (a kind forest fairy). They help Fluffy see things in a new way, and she starts to think about what truly matters. Determined to find the true meaning of Christmas—and her special unicorn magic—she gallops to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus.
During her visit to Santa’s cottage, Fluffy learns the most wonderful truth: real magic comes from within her own heart. “Everyone in this world is just like these snowflakes. Unique, special, and full of secret magic inside!”
With Misty and Albie by her side, Fluffy unlocks her unicorn magic on Christmas Eve. She learns that dreams really do come true. But more importantly, she discovers her true self and realizes that loving herself just the way she is—and believing in her unicorny self—can make life even more amazing than she ever imagined.
