Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!
Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at: https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Dragons can be dangerous… if you don’t bond with them first.
Eldwin dreams of becoming a dragon rider like his father—but before he can join the elite Dragon Guard, he must face a dangerous series of tests.
He’s determined to pass, but his maimed arm is a constant reminder of his disadvantage. Will the obstacles Eldwin faces keep him from reaching his dreams, or will he finally see what it’s like to ride the skies?
Never read the books? No worries! You don’t have to be familiar with the books to read the comic because it’s an adaptation of the story!
Dragon Riders of Osnen # 1 is like Harry Potter meets Eragon. Instead of a school where students learn magic, they learn to be dragon riders… if they prove themselves worthy!
It is a FULL-COLOR 28-page issue featuring Eldwin, a disabled young man who has nothing left in life except to be accepted as a dragon rider. It isn’t about glory for him, though.
It’s about having a roof over his head and food in his stomach. In order to prove their worthiness, every student must pass 3 tests: compassion, magical aptitude, and armed combat.
This is the first issue of a series that will run at least three issues, with the second planned for fall 2024.
As of January 18th, this project has raised $618 of their $500 goal. This project has 8 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $5, you will get one eBook. For a pledge of $10, you will get one issue one bundle. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/richardfierce/dragon-riders-of-osnen-issue-1?
