Crowdsourcing Mornings: Unconquered – The Big Book Of Bravery

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Do you know what war and romance have in common? In both cases, there is no light. We are doing this project by candlelight because russia** has bombed Ukrainian infrastructure. But our souls are warmed by five sweaters and the confidence that we are doing something important.

“Unconquered. The Big Book Of Bravery” is our message to the entire world. This will be the first illustrated publication about the biggest war in Europe since World War II.

The creative team, Books & Cartoons, wants to share with you the most valuable thing that the Ukrainian people currently have: bravery.

We, the Ukrainians, must admit, we were naïve at first. Crimea was taken away from us like candy from a child. And we continued to wait for justice. Hello, justice, where are you? She was busy, just like outlets at McDonald’s. Constantly occupied. Finally, in 2014, we Ukrainians began to defend our borders. And we dream that future generations will become even braver than us. Throughout all those challenges we felt like a sparrow in the shadow of a bear. If bravery lives in your soul, you will pass any test. Believe the people who ran out of fuel, but did not get upset and chose to walk. Believe the people who prayed for the bombing to end, because they had to wash their hair and go to work.

Millions of goosebumps live in the Big Book of bravery that will spread all over your skin as soon as you open the book. Books & Cartoons collected 500 facts about the war, which will become a lesson for the whole planet:

  • 25 spreads about superhuman feats that will motivate you to live and go on to victory.
  • Sensational details and screw-ups that the news is afraid to report.
  • Events that will be studied in history lessons.
  • People about whom films are already being made.

As of February 3rd, this project has raised $19,000 of their $10,000 goal.  This project has 13 days left to raise as much as it can.  For a pledge of $50, you will get one book.  For a pledge of $85, you will get three books.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
