Crowdsourcing Mornings: Finding Mosey

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Find your cat Mosey, choosing your degree of destruction and dedication. Fight, sneak, or talk your way into new areas and upgrade your character along the way as the search gets messy. Loot ridiculous items and discover hidden stories that help you explore this open-world.

Finding Mosey is an open world single-player third-person RPG about finding your cat.

As for how the plot goes, you get struck by lightning while flying a glider with your cat Mosey, and when you find shelter and set up camp in the area, Mosey appears to be missing the next morning. All of this seems like a coincidence, but the more you find out about what this place’s relationship is with cats, you realize you might be there for a reason.

This search leads you to deep mysteries about your environment and its relationship with cats. As you explore the landscape and cities, the character you decide to become will determine how destructive or peaceful your search will unfold.

As of December 7th, this project has raised $16,700 of their $20,983 goal.  This project has 5 days left to raise the $20,983 or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $21, you will get one digital game.  For a pledge of $32, you will get alpha access to the game.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/findingmosey/finding-mosey?
