Crowdsourcing Mornings: Noseferatu

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

“Noseferatu” tells the story of Orin the snooty vampire and his bat sidekick Wesley, as they explore the world in search of the greatest smell it has to offer!

At its core, this 11″x8.5″ book is about embracing cultural diversity, helping children understand that no one’s customs and country is better than anyone else’s, and being open to new experiences and things that might challenge our own worldview.

It’s important to show children that being open to cultures and customs different from their own isn’t something to fear or hate. Rather, it’s something that should be celebrated with curiosity and happiness. And that’s what this book aims to do, all while teaching children about various cultures, creatures, and of course, food!

Noseferatu is about cultural acceptance. Creatures. And of course, food. We believe it’s important to teach children to respect one another’s differences and even learn from them at an early age.

We also believe monsters can be fun, NOT scary! Orin and Wesley will prove this as they meet a whole handful of them on their crazy adventures!

We’re immensely excited to give this to you through the wild hijinks of our snooty vampire Orin, and his batty sidekick, Wesley.

As of July 26th, this project has raised $7,800 of their $8,800 goal. This project has 1 day left to raise the $8,800 or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $10, you will get one e-Book.  For a pledge of $25, you will get one hardcover book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
