Crowdsourcing Mornings: Drizzle

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Hello, Moon here!  I’m a French illustrator and DRIZZLE is my 5th artbook! It follows 365 Squares Vol.1Circus of Souls365 Squares Vol.2 and Exploration.

DRIZZLE is a collection of drawings done with 0.5mm gel pens in two small notebooks (9x14cm – 3,5×5,5″) over the past two years.

Most of the drawings have already been posted on social media. So that they don’t die in limbo on the internet, this book is a nice way to give them a second life!

The collection will be the same size as the notebooks to give you the feeling of having the originals in your hands. Its small size and abundant content makes it an object you want to hold.

It took countless hours to fill these pages. You will see lots of colourcharacters and other elements inside, all formed by a myriad of fine lines.

These lines inspired the title of the book. One day, my daughter told me that the hatch fillings reminded her of “the little rain”, the DRIZZLE.

This crowdfunding campaign is also the perfect opportunity to tell you about the new editions of 365 SQUARES VOL. 1 & VOL. 2! Launched in partnership with Editions Cauretteartbook and coffee-table book specialists.

As of June 28th, this project has raised $80,000 of their $5,290 goal. This project has 4 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $6, you will get 5 postcards.  For a pledge of $27, you will get one book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/moon-mxtr/drizzle-artbook?banner=art-newsletter01&lid=ncntrg352jcy&
