Crowdsourcing Mornings: Comfy Night – The Best Orthopedic Pillows For Perfect Sleep

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

Comfy Night introduces the world’s best orthopedic pillows set made of premium materials and with a number of unique and useful features. Pillows were tested with hundreds of people and received nothing but positive feedback.  60 million people in the US experience heartburn (gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD). This happens when a person is lying in the bed, causing their stomach and gullet to end up on the same level, which allows the acid to flow into the food pipe and corrode the mucous tissue.

Thanks to its wedge shape, the pillow makes sure your head is above the stomach, which ensures that the acid doesn’t make it into your gullet, reducing the frequency of heartburn.  80% of people are experiencing chronic back and loin pain. One of the common causes is improper posture and uneven pressure on joints and back.  When you’re lying on your side using a regular pillow, your shoulders and hip joint are angled, which bends your spine and puts extra pressure on your joints.

The Wedged Pillow has a hollow slot for a shoulder, where you can put your arm, ensuring straight spine and proper posture of shoulders and neck.  And with the Knee Pillow, you may position your legs without in a way that won’t bend your spine, providing low pressure on knees and hip joints.  Wedge shape provides tilted posture of your torso, making it impossible to throw your head back, which is a common cause of snoring.

As of June 19th, this project has raised $65,000 of their $7,000 goal. This project has 38 days left to raise as much as it can.  For a pledge of $119, you will get a Comfy Night 3 piece set.  For a pledge of $298, you will get two Comfy Night 3 piece sets.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
