Smarter Every Day Shows Us Two Vortex Rings Colliding In Slow Motion


The YouTube channel SmarterEveryDay and Destin Sandlin with the help David Linderman used a computer controlled cylinder to pump fluid behind a rubber membrane to fire toroidal vortices out of the vortex cannons.  There was many variables to get the vortex rings to collide, but the results are beautiful to watch, enjoy some awesome slow motion videos below!
