This week on Roadscapes Wednesday, I am uploading some pictures way back in May 2006. Back then, the small town of Wedowee Alabama had a intersection controlled by traffic lights. US 431 is a 4-lane through the town, while AL-48 intersects. The intersection has one traffic light on all four sides. And they were the classic 4-way lights. Sadly, the lights came down later in 2006 after the control box failed, and the intersection today is controlled by a 4-way stop. So, enjoy my pictures of this classic traffic light intersection.
