10 Days Left Until Christmas

It’s time to bring back some normalcy to Geek Alabama. I want you all to still pray and think about the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.

At the North Pole:

We are down to the 10 day countdown to Christmas. And that means all available elves are working to make the toys for the boys and girls. The elves will go through a lot of products to make all of those toys. Think about it; a lot of wood and plastic will be used. And a lot of paint will be used to make all the toys pretty. The elves pride themselves in making quality toys for the kids and they hope the kids will like their work!

Christmas Song:

White Christmas is an Irving Berlin song reminiscing about an old-fashioned Christmas setting. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the version sung by Bing Crosby is the best-selling single of all time, with estimated sales in excess of 50 million copies worldwide. And I like the Bing Crosby version of the song!

Christmas Charity:

For those wishing to help Newtown residents directly affected by Friday’s elementary school shooting, the Newtown Youth & Family Services is collecting donations.
Donations can be sent via “Caroline’s Gift,” a fund set up in the 1990s by a local family in memory of their daughter. The Caroline’s Gift fund offers financial support to families who are dealing with a child’s terminal or catastrophic illness. Any donations made to Newtown Youth& Family Services will be donated directly to those affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting.
