Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

It’s time for adventure! Come on, grab your friends and head with us to distant lands filled with heroes, magic, princesses, sentient bubblegum, sentient video game consoles, sentient breakfast foods, sentient—well, you get it!
In celebration of over 15 years of Adventure Time comics and graphic novels—inspired by Cartoon Network’s worldwide animation sensation—Oni Press, the multiple Eisner and Harvey Award-winning publisher of groundbreaking comics and graphic novels for more than 25 years, is proud to present the definitive collection straight from the Land of Ooo with the ADVENTURE TIME DELUXE COMICS LIBRARY Kickstarter Campaign!
Hold onto your butts! For this campaign, we’ve got something every Adventure Time reader will want on their shelves! Prepare for a momentous journey made up of six oversized, deluxe library collections featuring more than 100 issues of Adventure Time—dating as far back as 2012, when the comic series first made its landmark debut!
Oh! And did we mention it’s OVERSIZED?! Because it is! Every hardcover comes in at 11.125 x 7.5 inches—big enough to whack Ice King over the head* or use as a small breakfast plate (*Oni Press is not responsible for any Ice King-related injuries). That’s not all, though—each volume will have an awesome, totally mathematical, totally unique SLIPCASE that is totally exclusive to this Kickstarter campaign! AND THAT’S REALLY NOT ALL! (No, seriously, that’s really not all of it.) If you’re a Day One backer, you can expect to find an exclusive Day One Discount. It’s a deal even Ron James would be proud of.
As of October 19th, this project has raised $450,000 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 10 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $60, you will get one book. For a pledge of $120, you will get six digital editions. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/onipress/adventure-time-deluxe-comics-library?
