Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Beni is an all-terrain, portable, and autonomous robot that follows users around to film them. The camera robot on wheels has advanced obstacle avoidance, video tracking from multiple angles, and can even jump 10 inches (25 centimeters) into the air and automatically recover if it tips over. The motion-sensing robot can reach a top speed of 18 miles per hour (nearly 29 kilometers per hour), allowing it to track various action-sports scenarios.
Beni is your first all-terrain camera robot. Tap one button, and he stays right by your side, autonomously filming in stunning 4K while you do your thing. No remote or second person required.

As of August 7th, this project has raised $2.5 million of their $50,000 goal. This project has 30 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $579, you will get one Beni explore combo. For a pledge of $1,099, you will get two Beni explore combos. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mondorobotics/beni-all-terrain-camera-robot/
