I was contacted by the folks from Superpower about doing a review of their health service. Superpower is a membership program to get a much better overall picture of your health.
Superpower uses a simple blood draw and gives you a very large detail on your overall health. I signed up to a membership, and booked an appointment to a nearby lab for a blood draw. They also offer a at-home blood draw.

After the blood draw a few days later, you get a report measuring a wide range of aspects about your health. My normal doctor orders a blood draw for simple things like cholesterol, A1C, white and red blood cell count and more. Superpower goes way deeper! Superpower does 100+ biomarker lab tests.
So let’s explore my results.
My Superpower score is 78 out of 100. And my biological age is 46.6, my real age is 39.

My test results has 105 biomarkers. Some of the out of range markers include my cholesterol being high, which I knew already. And my A1C being elevated which I am working on.
But the test results discovered something interesting. My iron levels are low. And my uric acid levels are 11.1 mg/dl, too high. This might explain the pains I get in my feet, knees, and other parts of my body.
The test results also shows low testosterone levels in my body as well. Superpower gives you goals to improve your health. Here are my suggestions.

Superpower also gives you lifestyle and nutrition goals for you as well.

My only concern is Superpower gives you the option to purchase supplements, vitamins, and hydration packs. For someone who is on limited income, this is something I cannot afford.

I am glad Superpower reached out to me for a health test and review. At my next doctor appointment I will be able to give more details to my doctor, and fix my medications, which is great! If you want to know a much more detailed look at your overall health, Superpower is worth getting!
And I appreciate the folks from Superpower mailing me a card!
