Since the very beginning of our publishing journey, we’ve been inspired by the idea of blending the captivating movements of nature with the delightful charm of a thumb-powered flipbook. While the concept had been brewing in our minds from the start, it wasn’t until we stumbled upon the mesmerizing documentary Fantastic Fungi by Louie Schwartzberg, and later, Adrian Smith’s beautiful super slow-motion footage on his channel AntLab, that our vision for this new collection crystallized. Inspired by the breathtaking imagery and profound insights from these works, the idea for our new collection, Motion in Nature, was born.

Today, we’re bursting with excitement to introduce you to our newest vision, and we’d be delighted if you’d join us in making it a reality.

The Motion in Nature Flipbook Collection consists of a set of six interactive “cinemagic” flipbooks that delve into the movements in nature that our eyes are unable to perceive. Together with our esteemed collaborators, we have embarked on the creation of six unique flipbooks that explore the hidden movements of flora and fauna. Using timelapse, high-speed, and macro cinematography, this collection features 36 captivating sequences of moths, bugs, butterflies, flowers, fungi and hummingbirds.

The complete collection box features all six flipbooks, each with an augmented reality component that lets you experience the mesmerizing slow-motion footage at its original high frame rates. This meticulously curated collection serves as both an educational and scientific resource, sure to captivate audiences of all ages. Packaged in a stylish box, the full collection makes for a stunning addition to any library or coffee table.

Additionally, we offer two distinct bundles: the “AntLab Bundle” with three flipbooks by Dr. Adrian Smith and the “MotionArt Bundle” by Louie Schwartzberg. These bundles come with a paper slipcase and provide a glimpse into the enchanting experience the full collection offers. However, for the most comprehensive and visually striking experience, the entire collection is the ultimate choice.

As of August 14th, this project has raised $25,000 of their $7,655 goal. This project has 12 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $46, you will get one moving art bundle.  For a pledge of $76, you will get two bundles.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/flipboku/motion-in-nature-a-flipbook-experience?
