Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

“The Art of Vonn 2013 – 2023” is a 400+ page artbook featuring over 1000 fantastical hand drawn pencil drawings and illustrations.
Hi everyone, I’m Timothy Von Rueden, known as “vonnart” online. I am a magick seeking, sunflower child who creates out of the beautiful northern tundra known as Wisconsin. I draw and live alongside my wonderful hubby Josh and our two goofy cats, Astrid and Casper.
I’ve been creating artbook volumes of my traditional pencil drawings every 2 years over the past decade in pursuit of one day creating an artbook that could contain over 10 years worth of work. It was once thought of as a dream project that I eventually would compile all of my drawings into a massive artbook!
And now, that day….is today.
This artbook collection is MASSIVE. This book tips the scale at over 400 pages and contains thousands of drawings and sketches created traditionally by hand with a simple pencil, paper, and some patience.
The book itself is hard cover and gold embellished. Each book on EVERY reward tier will be signed by myself. This book will be larger than my previous volumes, standing at 9 x 12 inches (23 x 30 cm) as a reflection of the sketchbook size I almost always draw in! The pages will be 160lb matte paper to ensure each page is thick enough to ensure proper viewing. Gold foil will be placed on the cover, spine, and back of the book. The page edges of the book will also be gold gilded.
The book is organized chronologically, starting in 2013 and ending with 2023. You will see over the years how I’ve evolved as an artist, matured as a person, and how that has reflected in my art. This book shows a significant timeline in my life going from a young, passionate, and kinda sad art kid ready to prove himself to a fully independent artist living out my dream thanks to all the support and love I’ve gotten over the years.

As of August 13th, this project has raised $96.000 of their $25,000 goal. This project has 3 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $60, you will get one signed book. For a pledge of $80, you will get one book and playing cards. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vonnart/the-art-of-vonn-2013-2023?
