Spirit the Woman of Hope # 1 is the first issue in the anticipated, ongoing series, presented by New Horizon Comics. Her ongoing narrative is a coming-of-age story.
When the most popular hero on the planet abruptly retires, Spirit steps up to fill the void. She’s embraced by the public until tragedy strikes. Now, many are questioning if she’s capable and calling her dangerous. Spirit must push back against the resentment and negativity in order to walk the path she is destined to walk. A path that will lead her towards becoming the greatest hero on the planet.
This campaign is here primarily to cover printing/publishing and shipping of the first issue. To date, I’ve spent over $5,000 to producing this comic. That includes character designs, logos, interior art, pinup art, covers, coloring, lettering, and editing. That’s how dedicated I am to completing this book.
Whatever monies remaining from the campaign, after printing/publishing and shipping, will go into producing future issues of the Spirit title, from New Horizon Comics.
The sequential artwork and coloring of all the pages have been complete. Everything is being prepared to go to the letterer. When that stage is completed, it’s off to the presses. One of my main goals in this process is to ensure you will not have to wait long to receive the first amazing issue of Spirit the Woman of Hope. I didn’t want to launch until the artwork and coloring was completed.
