Unlocking meaningful friendships through the power of video games.
Gaming has brought families closer together for generations and helped people create meaningful friendships. From playing Mario Kart on your grandparents’ carpet with a little cousin watching to your first time dialing into an online voice chat with high school friends, we fondly reflect on the bonding moments video games gave to us.
We look back on those times with nostalgia, but when we truly think about it, did those forged friendships come easily? Or did we really have to work for them? Pro Gamer’s Guide to Making Friends tackles one of the most demanding challenges faced during childhood through fun adventures, empathy, and age-appropriate advice. It’s the book that many children of the past, who always found it tough making friends wish they could’ve read. Additionally, it offers insights into how anonymous chat can help kids practice communication skills in a safe, low-pressure environment.

As of August 25th, this project has raised $30,000 of their $27,000 goal. This project has 2 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $18, you will get one hardcover book. For a pledge of $25, you will get one hardcover book and coloring book. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bricksobrian/pro-gamers-guide-to-making-friends?
