This is something I really don’t get, but why do Americans hate the roundabout or traffic circle? I mean, roundabouts have continuously been ranked as the safest form of intersection on a road. But somehow, Americans and those here in Alabama think roundabouts are horrible. Would you rather navigate a traffic light intersection where someone could crash into you head on, or navigate a roundabout where speeds are slower?
