Welcome back Toys R Us!  A few stores have now opened across the United States.  Richard Barry, President and CEO of Tru Kids, the parent company of Toys R Us, discusses the first Toys R Us store to open in New Jersey since the company declared bankruptcy in 2017.

While many thought the new store would remain the same, the company bounced back with a different model, Barry said. This time, Toys R Us worked with Target to bring big brands on the shelves including Paw Patrol, Lego and Nerf. While Toys R Us could have focused on ecommerce, Barry said it’s important for customers to engage with the physical products when buying.  See the video from CNBC below.
