Watch The Trailer To 60 Days In – Etowah County Detention Center On A&E

Well, East Alabama is about to be featured on A&E again.  Earlier in 2019, I was featured on the A&E series The Employables here in Anniston.  Now, A&E will take us inside the Etowah County Detention Center for their newest season of 60 Days In.

A&E is billing this as the “craziest season ever.”  And the series will follow new sheriff Jonathon Horton as he takes over being sheriff from the infamous beach house sheriff and conducts a major shakedown of the jail.  In his first week, he decided to shakedown the facility and in one day alone, found more than 200 broken door locks, drugs and removed more than two tons of contraband. With no time to lose, Sheriff Horton along with Chief Peek and select members of their team have agreed to embed innocent participants to uncover the issues that plague the facility.

The members of the public going into the jail include a corrections officer, a former Marine, an entrepreneur, a political science major, a faith-based operations manager, a teacher for at-risk youth and a police officer.

A&E calls the Etowah County Jail one of the worst facilities it has ever seen.  60 Days In – Etowah County Detention Center premieres on January 2nd, 2020 at 9 pm central.  Watch the trailers below!
