Over the Summer, Milan held it’s Expo 2015 (Expo Milano 2015). Among the activities, the Italians were busy trying to break a Guinness World Record. It took 60 Italian chefs 18 hours to make this long-distance pie, with 1.7 tons of flour, 1.5 tons of mozzarella, and 2 tons of tomato sauce. The pizza was cooked with five ovens and at the end, the pizza measured 1.59545 kilometers long — just short of one mile.
The pizza did break the Guinness World Records for the world’s longest pizza! Yummy! Enjoy some videos and tweets from this great achievement!
