This is something great that needed to be shared! Dress today has gotten really sexy among several teenagers. And one father did something that would get him the father of the year award. Utah dad Scott Mackintosh turned a pair of his own jeans into short-shorts to demonstrate his unhappiness with his teenaged daughter’s skimpy wardrobe. Here’s a picture from the family!
Scott is a father of seven and the family wanted to go out to have some family bonding time. When he heard his wife complaining to Miley over the short-shorts, Scott decided to grab an old pair of jeans, and cut most of it off to make them a pair of short-shorts. And to make things better, he wore a t-shirt that said “Best. Dad. Ever.” After this story went viral, Mackintosh decided to clarify a few things about his purpose. He said, “I simply did this in hopes that my daughter would know of my great love for her and that she knows of her great worth,” he said in a statement to Deseret News. “Now that it has gone viral, I hope that young women everywhere understand their great worth. I will look like an idiot any day if that point gets across.”
Since the father did the short-shorts stunt, the daughter has not worn any short-shorts. The father and daughter have bonded more since the stunt and the new motto is “modest is hottest.” I think we can all agree with that! Here is a story from ABC News.
